OUR CLASSES
Specialty trade skills mean nothing without a solid foundation of core skills. Our classes allow
students to specialize in their trade while still becoming a well-rounded electrician.
4 YEAR APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Students will learn many aspects of electrical work (such as Commercial and Industrial).
NO experience or prior training required.
Highschool Diploma or GED is required.
Must pass an Aptitude Test to be eligible.
Algebra 1 Based Math & Reading Comprehension
Four Years of Classes (180 hours with a set curriculum for each year.)
Minimum of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.
Pay rate starting at $18.34/hr, with 5 levels of raises once eligible.
Classes are held once a week from 6pm - 10pm.
Savannah or Brunswick Class Location.
A passing grade, classroom attendance, and the following OJT Hours constitute a raise:
1st Year Apprentice
$19.25 — 55%
1st Period (0000 - 1000 OJT Hours)
1st Year Apprentice
$21.00 — 60%
2nd Period (1000 - 2000 OJT Hours)
2nd Year Apprentice
$22.75 — 65%
3rd Period (2001 - 3500 OJT Hours)
3rd Year Apprentice
$24.50 — 70%
4th Period (3501 - 5000 OJT Hours)
4th Year Apprentice
$26.25 — 75%
5th Period (5001 - 6500 OJT Hours)
4th Year Apprentice
$29.75 — 85%
6th Period (6501 - 8000 OJT Hours)
OSHA 10 & 30 Classes
OSHA 10-and-30 hour Construction outreach training classes are available to promote safe and efficient electrical construction workplace practices.
CPR Certification
The Savannah Electrical Training Alliance has a CPR Class that can give you the vital knowledge and skills you’ll need to respond to a life-threatening situation with confidence.
